Design and Technology in secondary schools will involve a wide range of equipment and machinery much of which requires regular testing to ensure it is functioning as intended and continues to be safe to use.
The Test Record example shown opposite (click to enlarge and again to download) provides an indication of the items which may usefully be covered in such a testing regime. This example is referred to as Appendix 1 in the sample D&T Safety Audit.
