Most carcases are white and are often standard. Units can often be renovated or changed simply by fixing different doors and drawer fronts. Existing painted units can be refinished - perhaps by the local car sprayer.
A wide range of door and drawer fronts are available, from plain plastic laminate through to solid wood frames and panels. Special free standing Island units are available for placing in the centre of larger kitchens. Base units sometimes need work tops and fittings.

Base and wall units are made in a full range of standard sizes . Most are made from plastic laminate coated chipboard and are sold in self-assembly, flat pack form or come ready assembled.
