Description
Hand Vices are used to hold small pieces of work, especially metal, when drilling for example.
Features and Applications
Their rounded shape helps protect the user from the sharp edges of the metal.
Safety Point! Holding metal with bare hands whilst using a drilling machine is VERY DANGEROUS since the drill can grab and spin the metal when it breaks through.
Work may also be held using a Machine Vice, Vice Grip, Mole Wrench, Toolmakers Clamps, G Cramp or by bolting it down to the machine table.
