  • If contrasting layers of veneer are held together and sawn as one, with either a Fretsaw or Scroll Saw, the cut is fine enough to enable both shapes and recesses to accept them, to be cut together thus ensuring accuracy.
  • Pieces of veneer can be inserted completely or partially into a tray of hot Silver Sand to create a graduated shading effect.

Safety Point! Craft knives must be used only with adult supervision. Avoid applying too much pressure and cut through a sheet of material with a series of lighter strokes rather than trying to get through in one go.
