Before deciding on the furniture layout, make a list of all the activities which will take place in the room then list the furniture, equipment and other objects which you think will need to be there.
Check that the furniture you have listed will allow all the activities and provide necessary display and storage bearing in mind the number off people who will user the room.
Possible activities:
- sitting,
- talking,
- reading,
- relaxing,
- watching TV,
- listening to or making music,
- playing board games or electronic games,
- pursuing hobbies,
- doing homework, * eating,
- sleeping (especially occasional guests).
