Base and wall units are made in a full range of standard sizes . Most are made from plastic laminate coated Chipboard and are sold in self-assembly, flat pack form or come ready assembled.

Self-assembly units incorporate a number of Knock Down fittings. Most have doors which are laid on to the front of the carcase and hung with concealed adjustable hinges which allow 180 degree movement.

Most carcases are white and are often standard. Units can often be renovated or changed simply by fixing different doors and drawer fronts. Existing painted units can be refinished - perhaps by the local car sprayer.

A wide range of door and drawer fronts are available, from plain plastic laminate through to solid wood frames and panels.

Special free standing Island units are available for placing in the centre of larger kitchens.

Base units sometimes need work tops and fittings.

For ease of design and fitting all wall units are of standard sizes. These are:-

  • All full height wall units are 720mm high and 290mm deep (excluding doors).
  • All standard height wall units are 557mm high and 290mm deep (excluding doors).
  • Unit widths are 300, 400, 500, and 600 all with single door which can be hinged on either the right or left hand side. The double door units are 600, 800, or 1000 wide (all sizes are in mm).
