Description
Power Shears(top) and Nibblers(bottom) are available - either as stand-alone machines or attachments for electric drills.
Safety Point! Electric drill attachments are generally unsuitable for school use and all power tools are dangerous - use only with adult supervision and appropriate training
Features and Applications
Power Shears operate in much the same way as scissors or snips with two small blades powered to slide against each other. Nibblers work more like a notcher and are based around a small punch and die which is powered repeatedly up and down to remove small bits of metal and leave a kerf approximately 6 mm wide.
