Lump Hammers (aka Club Hammers) are short handled heavy headed hammers commonly available in weights from 2lb to 4lb.
Features and Uses
They are commonly used to strike heavy blows single-handedly to Cold Chisels or to Forge hot metal. They are also used by builders and construction workers for light demolition work and striking Bolsters or Plugging Chisels.
Safety Point! When these are used for masonry work especially, debris is likely to fly so the wearing of safety glasses and working gloves is recommended.
