Description
Joggling is a process to create a small offset near the edge of a piece of sheet metal so that it can overlap another sheet while maintaining a flush surface.
Features and Uses
Making an off-set to enable a Lap Jointed seam is a common requirement in Sheet Metalworking.
Joggling is also often used for vehicle body and sheet metal repairs, for example, when joining pieces together and Spot Welding them.
